MobilePhoneFinder.com.au's very own front man was been very busy during the line-up outside Apple's George Street Sydney store. Queuing up to get the first iPhone 5 in the world is no small feat and reporters, cameramen and curious passersby have been stopping in to interview, congratulate or commiserate with Todd. One particularly exciting visitor was 2GB and Today's Ross Greenwood.

The release of the newest version of iPhone, the iPhone5, was an event everyone anticipated, from common people to TV reporters and columnists. The general attention focused on an Australian young man named Todd Foot, also known as Aussie Todd, the first to line up on the queue in front of the main Apple store on George Street, Sydney. The famous star journalist of "Today", Ross Greenwood was among the first reporters to interview him.

What Aussie Todd Had to Say

First of all, he spoke about how proud he was to be the very first person on the planet to get hands on the new generation of iPhone5. He described the features that he was so enthusiastic about and that he considered worth waiting in line for, even for days.

Ross Greenwood was curious to know how Todd managed to fulfill his basic physical and physiological needs without leaving his place in front of the store for such a long time. The young man answered by mentioning the total support he got from the staff of the store. They provided him three meals a day and all the other things required in order to make his waiting as comfortable as the circumstances allowed.

About Ross Greenwood

He is an Australian journalist who specialised in financial and economic analysis. His solid professional reputation is well-known, not only in his native country, but also internationally.

Throughout his successful carrier, he coordinated several publications, such as "Business Review Weekly", "Personal Investor" and "Shares". He was also among the co-owners of the last mentioned magazine.

As for Ross Greenwood's career as a television reporter, it includes collaborations with prestigious channels like the BBC in England, and Sky News and Bloomberg Television in the United States. Between 1992 and 1997, he appeared in the popular Australian TV show "Healthy, Wealthy and Wise".

He currently writes articles for the financial section of "Nine News" and "Today" and hosts "Money News" on both TR 1377 and 2GB channels. He was among the first reporters to interview "Aussie Todd" on his challenges and personal needs in being the first person in the queue to get his hands on the latest iPhone 5 at the iconic Apple store in Sydney.
